Last song: Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo. My wife really vibed with the first album and was just thinking: “huh, wonder where that girl is and if we’re gonna get more music?” Then like she was some sort of prophet, new music came! I count it as the last song I listened to because she’s listening to it in the shower, right now, and I can hear it.
Currently watching: I’m currently watching Mike’s Mic because the YouTube algorithm delivered him to me. My first watch (the YouTube recommended video) was a deep dive into Lost and girlies, I had a great time. So great a time, in fact, that I’ve since watched his Pretty Little Liars deep dive (a show I don’t know or care a thing about) and his Glee deep dive (a show that I watched briefly and it second hand embarrassed me to my very core the whole time). It is my turn to recommend him to you now, dear reader. I also watch twitch a lot and my favorite streamer is Kara Strait who is big on chat engagement, gossip, and very good game play (when we can get her to play games, haha). You might know her from The Film Reroll. If you start watching her stream, you’re contractually obligated to tell her Noir sent you.
Currently reading: I’m in between books at the moment because I’m up to my chin in work training and simply don’t have the brain power for much these days, but my plan is to read Piccolo Is Black: A Memoir of Race, Religion, and Pop Culture by Jordan Calhoun. Ladies, Theydies, and Gents, one thing about me is I’m gonna support a black nerd because I too am one.
Current obsessions: My current obsession is truly my forever obsession. And that is playing Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. It’s my calling and I’m good at it. You should try it.
